I am Traci Lindsten, a recovering IT operations manager and former postal worker who has spent far too long watching 'helpful' systems slowly evolve into our new robot overlords. Naturally, I decided to write about it. I have spent years crafting essays on Medium that aim to hit that sweet spot between a dry chuckle and a sudden realization, all designed to be consumed in the time it takes for your coffee to reach a drinkable temperature.
After a brief, checkered past in stand-up comedy where I learned that timing is everything (even if the stage lights were dim), I finally funneled my observations into my debut novel, Adaptive Fit. I currently reside in Colorado, where I continue my rigorous, top-secret research: testing consumer products on myself when I am reasonably certain the neighbors aren't looking.
