About the class:

Everyone has stories. Most of us tell them badly. This four-week workshop is for anyone who wants

to write about their own life, whether for family, for publication, or for the satisfaction of finally

getting the Thanksgiving incident down on paper, and make it something a reader can’t put down.

We’ll cover where the funny actually lives in true stories (hint: the details), how to earn a real

moment of feeling without going soft, and how to land an ending. No experience required. Bring a

pen, a story you’ve told out loud more than once, and a willingness to read it to a small, kind room.
